MailScanner is a generic scanner intending to drive a spam filter and virus scanner and used by MTAs. This software is written in Perl and works well with SendMail and Exim.

Mailman

Mailman is an open source software for managing electronic mailing system, e-discussion and e-newsletters. This software can be installed on any website that supports CGI scripts.

Mailman is developed by Barry Warsaw and is being used in various forms since its inception in 1997. The quality of the software is being enhanced by years of modifications, tuning and additions. Since 1997, Mailman has been downloaded by more than 35000 times because of its reliable, robust and stable e-mail service.

iptables

iptables are built on top of netfilters, the building blocks of a framework inside Linux 2.4x and 2.6x kernel. This is considered as a major rewrite of its ancestor ipchains.

iptables are used for controlling packet filtering and network address translation like masquerading, portforwarding, transparent proxying etc. They also provide special effects like packet mangling.

NullLogic Groupware

The NullLogic Groupware is a open source multi-user web-based groupware package. It is designed for effective contact management and event scheduling. The software also includes some additional features like instant messaging, public forums, shared hyperlinks, file bases etc. It also comes with a web e-mail client, and a simple order processing system.

GnomeMeeting is a videoconferencing, telephony and soft phone software that allow you to make audio and video calls to remote users. It is Free Software, which means, it can easily be downloaded and used from the Internet.

GCC

The GNU Compiler Collection or GCC contains frontends for C, C++, Objective-C, Fortran, Java, and Ada as well as libraries for these languages. It is a full-featured ANSI C compiler along with support for K&R C. GCC provides many levels of source code error checking, which is traditionally provided by other tools (such as lint), produces debugging information. It can also perform many different optimizations for resulting object code.

Gammu is an application used for managing the functions of cellular phones and similar devices such as modems. It was formerly known as MyGnokii2.

Gammu currently supports almost all types of Nokia phones ranging from DCT3 generation like 3210,3315,3410,5110,5130,6110,6130,6210 etc to DCT4 generation such as 3100,3510,3510i, 6220,6310,6310i, 6510,6610,7210,8310 etc. It also supports many AT devices like Siemens, Sony Ericsson, Alcatel, Falcom etc. Gammu can also works well with OBEX and Symbian devices. It works with site cables, USB cables, Blue Tooth stacks and Infrared connectors.

DSpam

DSPAM is a scalable, open-source, server-side, statistical anti-spam filter works mainly for UNIX e-mail servers. DSPAM is efficient, runs fast, and doesn't depend on any third-party language interpreters.

Cdrecord software allows creating both audio and data CDs. This software is currently known as Cdrtools.

Cdrecord is used to record data or audio compact discs on an Orange Book CD-Recorder. Cdrecord creates home-burned CDs with CD-Write/CD-Read-Write recorder. It works as a burn engine for several applications. However, Cdrecord has several advantages over Cdwrite, the popular CD writing tool. While Cdrecord provides full multisession support and human-readable error messages, Cdwrite cannot support these features.

Bugzero is a web-based bug tracking, issue tracking and change management software. This open source system works in distributed environment for tracking software bugs, hardware defects, test cases and other test related issues.
