ImageMagick

ImageMagick is a software package for automated and interactive manipulation of images. It is a free software that helps to create, edit and compose a large variety of image formats. Images can be cropped, colors can be changed and various effects can be applied to the images using ImageMagick.

ImageMagick is a free software. The full source code is available free of cost. Anybody can download it from the Internet and use it. It can also be copied, modified and distributed under its license, which is compatible with GPL license. ImageMagick Studio keeps the copyright of this software.

ImageMagick compiles and runs under Unix, Linux, Windows '95 and later, Apple Mac OS, and Compaq VMS. Binary packages are available for most operating systems. Application programming interfaces (APIs) are provided to support development of image processing applications in the C, C++, and Perl languages.

ImageMagick supports a large number of image formats (over 90 major formats) including formats like GIF, JPEG, JPEG-2000, PNG, PDF, PhotoCD, TIFF, and DPX.
