· Simple, sober and professional interface design
· Maximum features comparing other mailers
· Flexible interaction and stable performance
Sylpheed’s appearance and interface design resemble with some of the popular e-mail clients for Windows. For example, Outlook Express, Becky, Datula etc. While the interface design imitates the Emac-based mailers, most of the commands of Sylpheed are also accessible through keyboard. If you are using any other mailer, it won’t be difficult for you to switch over to Sylpheed since it provides same features like your existing mail clients.
Sylpheed manages messages in MH format and it can be used with other mailer based on MH format. Since the files correspond to one mail, there is less probability of losing mails with Sylpheed. It offers importing and exporting mbox format messages.
