KEuroCalc
KEuroCalc is the open source universal currency converter and calculator. KDE 3.4 user interference is required to run KEuroCalc successfully. This software is developed by Eric Bischoff. The current version of this software is KEuroCalc 0.9.4. KEuroCalc is released under the terms of GNU General Public License.
KEuroCalc provides the facility to convert a number of currencies. The users can convert one type of currency to another currency with a fixed conversion rate or with a variable conversion rate. By using KEuroCalc, the user can download the latest variable rates, directly from the Internet. Apart from the exchange rates specified by European Central Bank, KEuroCalc supports the dollar-based exchange rates specified by Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
The user can configure the rounding method in the KEuroCalc software. The other methods, which are available in this currency converter and calculator are Official Rules, Rounding to smallest available coin and No rounding at all. The recent development of KEuroCalc includes the conversion of Turkish Lira and Romanian Leu currencies.
