XDB Money is open source web-based personal finance system written in PHP. The recent version of this software is XDB Money 0.11. Linux is the operating system that supports XDB Money and the intended audiences of this software are end users. XDB Money is released under the terms of the GNU General Public License.

XDB Money has unlimited accounts and supports unlimited number of transactions. Monthly and daily reports can be generated with XDB Money along with the added facility like grouping of account information into categories and super categories for reporting.

XDB Money is completely web-based and provides the support to the user to upload or download bank statements. XDB Money supports scheduled transaction for every ‘n’ days or every ‘nth’ day of the month.

The recent development in the XDB Money is the budget facility. The user can access the budget facility from Account Report and Utilities - menu. Therefore, the user can plan his/ her monthly expenditure for each category.

The use of ‘Smart Tables’ in XDB Money provides facilities like sorting, searching and paging of table data. The user security system and the user preference are the other features of XDB Money. The user needs to run the INSTALL script during the time of upgrading as new tables. The facility of graphs are there in XDB Money, new graphs are introduced by which the user can track the daily debits and credits.
