xdTV is a free software, which helps you to watch and stream TV. It uses the video4linux API and interacts with aleVT for teletext and Nxtvepg for NextView. xdTV: CVS[concurrent versions system] is a tool used by many software developers to deal with changes in their source code trees. It helps to store not only the present version of source codes; it also records all types of changes that have taken place on the source codes.

Being open source and free software xdTV is easily available on Internet. You can download it in your system, use, modify and distribute it under the terms of GNU General Public License. xdTV supports ALL POSIX operating system. The ALL POSIX operating system includes Linux, BSD and Unix-like OSes. The programming languages used to develop xdTV are C and Unix shell.

Since xdTV relates to your watching and streaming TV, it also helps in Video capture, Sound/Audio and Display. One prime feature of xdTV is, it supports translation of languages like English, German, French, Italian, Japanese, Spanish and Catalan.
