QCad
QCad is an application for computer aided drafting in two dimensions. This software lets you create various types of technical drawings such as plans for buildings, drawings for interior decoration and two-dimensional drawing of any mechanical parts. QCad was designed aiming to provide modularity, extensibility and portability in the software. However, the instinctive user interface is quite popular among the users.
QCad is simple and easy-to-use two-dimensional CAD system for everyone. People without any CAD experience can start working with QCad software. It works under Linux, UNIX systems, Mac OS X and Windows platforms.
QCad is open source and free software. Andrew Mustun is the main developer and QCad project coordinator. The source code of QCad is released under license of GNU General Public License.
QCad features various modes for creating lines, arcs, circles, ellipses, parallels, angle bisectors etc. It provides full support of Layers and Blocks and offers powerful selection and modification tools like move, rotate, mirror, trim and many more. The other significant features of QCad include:

· Console for coordinate positioning and launching commands
· Creation of PF files, which are easily converted to PDF files
