Apache::ASP

Apache::ASP provides an Active Server Pages port to the Apache Web Server with Perl scripting language. It enables to develop dynamic web applications with session management and embedded Perl code. The software also contains many powerful extensions such as, XML taglibs, XSLT rendering etc.

The features of Apache::ASP include natural and powerful syntax, rich objects developer API, web application events model, modular SSI decomposition and code sharing, user sessions, CIFS & NFS cluster ready, XML/XSLT rendering and custom tag technology.

Apache::ASP object model supports objects like Session, Response, Request, Application and Server. Apache::ASP is compatible with scripts written with CGI.pm. Also, Apache::ASP can run in standalone CGI mode for the Apache web server without mod_perl being available.

Apache::Asp, which runs under mod_perl for Apache, has been in development since 1998. The software is licensed under GNU General Public License. Apache::ASP is free software, which you can redistribute, modify and use under the terms of GPL version 2 or later.
