Aladdinghostscript is a open source software for printing purpose in Unix system. It is actually used to process Postscript and PDF files. The function of this software is to reorganize the documents in such a manner that they suit perfectly with different printing devices, different image file formats and screen previews.

Aladdinghostscript comes with a number of applications that arrange the documents in such a way that they can be printed evenly with all types of printers. Aladdinghostscript supports high level printing devices like laser printers, ink jet printers etc. However, if the users of this software are having low level of printing devices like dot matrix printer, they can also use Aladdinghostscript effectively. This software can convert the Postscript files to Adobe Distiller in command line.
