APB

APB stands for Active PHP Bookmark. It is a bookmark manager, which was originally developed by Brandon Stone. APB helps the users to save the bookmarks and provides the privileges to make the bookmarks visible in a compatible way.

APB increases its usability by performing various operations such as, sorting the bookmarks, keeping the frequently used bookmarks at user’s fingertips etc.

APB provides the following facilities to its users:
· Making a bookmark public or private
· Searching of bookmarks
· Making nested groups
· Quickly adding a bookmark
· Ranking of bookmarks

APB is open source software and is still in its infancy. The APB forum always welcomes developers and users views and suggestions to enhance APB and to incorporate more features into it.

If you have UNIX operating system and PHP installed in your machine, you are ready to run APB. The software is open source and free. It can easily be downloaded from the Internet, used and distributed under the terms and conditions of GNU General Public License.
